Our Story

For years, our family has been blessed to sit under faithful, verse-by-verse preaching. Week after week, we filled notebooks, underlined passages, and carefully recorded the truths God was teaching us through His Word.

Over time, we noticed a problem. Those notes—though carefully preserved—were scattered across notebooks, bulletins, and journals. Finding our notes from Galatians or Luke often meant searching through years of notebooks.

That simple frustration sparked an idea.

What if every book of the Bible had its own journal? Instead of filling one notebook after another, believers could build a personal library of faithful preaching: one volume for Luke, another for Galatians, another for James, and so on. Each journal would preserve not only the sermons from that book, but also the season of life in which God used those messages to shape their faith.

Today, The Sermon Shelf exists to help Christians preserve years of faithful preaching and build a library they will return to for decades. Our prayer is that each completed journal becomes a lasting reminder of God's faithfulness as He works through the preaching of His Word.
